Pulsepoint is a focused and profitable business, leading the change that’s transforming an entire industry. Not only that, but it’s a super environment if you want to be challenged, make a difference, and have fun at the same time.

What was the first job you ever had?

I worked after school and on weekends from the ages of 13 to 21 at an emporium in my hometown of Gloucester (work WAS my extracurricular activity). I’d bike 5 miles to be at work at 6 am to proof the croissants!

What is your all-time favorite advertisement?

My favorite ad was for Burger King back in the 80’s.

As CTO, Jad will act as the lead technological visionary to oversee the evolution of PulsePoint’s programmatic platform.

Jad joins PulsePoint with over fifteen years of industry knowledge including positions such as SVP of Engineering at GroupM, the digital branch of WPP and and Vice President of Engineering at 24/7 Media where he was a founding member of the Media Innovation Group. While at 24/7 Media, Jad released the first DMP at scale in 2008 and built the company’s 3rd party data integration, segment creation and Trading Desk technology, including bid and spend optimization.  All of these technologies were the basis to create and run Xaxis LLC.

Prior to 24/7 Media, Jad held various roles at DoubleClick, from lead engineer on the original team that developed DART for Advertisers (DFA), to managing agency products such as DFA, Ensemble and DART Mail, with a focus on scaling and system integration.

Earlier in his career, Jad worked at Context Web, a legacy business that formed PulsePoint in 2011, Alcatel, a French global telecommunications equipment company and Sony Research Lab where he coded a graphical library and a GUI SDK.

Jad has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Information Networking/Computer Science Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
