NEW YORK-- PulsePoint, a leading global programmatic advertising platform, today announced the launch of PulsePoint Health, the company’s new healthcare platform. PulsePoint Health is the first fully customized programmatic platform for healthcare marketers. Designed to help healthcare companies navigate the complex world of real-time advertising while ensuring brand safety, PulsePoint Health provides custom data packages as well as advanced content marketing opportunities, tailored for each healthcare client.
“We’re building a first of its kind platform. We identified the need for solutions within the healthcare vertical that combine the efficiency and data precision of programmatic with the engagement of content marketing to create the best way for healthcare marketers to find their audience at scale,” said PulsePoint CEO, Sloan Gaon. “The launch of PulsePoint Health is an exciting step forward for PulsePoint and healthcare players large and small. We’ve compiled a team of experts who are passionate about bringing programmatic solutions to the healthcare industry, and are continuing to build out this critical new segment of our company.
The healthcare industry piqued PulsePoint’s interest for many reasons including growth and revenue potential. Within our programmatic ad exchange we have seen 74 percent year-over-year revenue growth and an average of six billion health ad impressions each month in more than 50 health specific categories. Additionally, the healthcare industry spends a significant amount on advertising, with pharmaceutical companies alone accounting for approximately $20 billion of the overall $50 billion spend.”
PulsePoint has hired healthcare industry veteran, Chris Neuner, as SVP & GM of digital health solutions to lead the company’s new division. Prior to PulsePoint, Neuner was on the executive team and served as chief revenue officer at QualityHealth, a health performance marketing company. Over the past 6 years, Neuner held several key commercial leadership positions at QualityHealth, including heading up sales, marketing and product development.
In 2014, QualityHealth successfully sold to Sharecare, where Neuner's role increased to co-leading the revenue division. Prior to QualityHealth, Chris founded Greater Than One, an agency which provided interactive marketing services to health clients.
“I’m excited to help lead PulsePoint Health in developing programmatic advertising solutions for the healthcare industry,” said Neuner. “When it comes to programmatic, healthcare finds itself behind other industries in terms of knowledge and market share. PulsePoint has taken an exciting first step to address this and propel the industry forward.”
“As one of the original programmatic ad exchanges, PulsePoint continues its history of innovation by taking a leading role in educating healthcare and pharma marketers on the value of programmatic advertising. eHealthcare Solutions, through EHSX, is pleased to be working with PulsePoint Health to simplify and scale pharma’s execution of programmatic,” said RJ Lewis, author of Results: The Future of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing.
